New Enhancements to the Pro Players Club Starting August 2014 -
Return to the “2014-2015 Premier Play Updates” main article. As Magic continues to grow, so do events. In order to address and better accommodate this growth, and based on feedback from the community, we are implementing changes to how players earn Professional Points (Pro Points) and earn Pro Tour invitations with a good finish at a Pro Tour. We’ve also made adjustments to current Grand Prix Pro Point “caps” and the Pro Players Club.
Improving the Grand Prix -
Return to the “2014-2015 Premier Play Updates” main article. We’ve seen an incredible growth of Grand Prix (GP) attendance during the last two seasons. Not only was Grand Prix Las Vegas in 2013 the largest Magic tournament event ever held, at 4,500 players, Grand Prix Richmond 2014 clocked in at 4,300 players. Due to the growth Magic has seen and continues to see at GPs, we will be implementing improvements to the GPs for the 2015 calendar year as well as the 2014–2015 professional season.
More GPs and bigger prizes!
2014–2015 Premier Play Updates -
The 2013–2014 Magic Premier Play season has seen an exciting level of participation. This season has seen two of our largest Grand Prix ever: Grand Prix Las Vegas 2013, with 4,500 players, and Grand Prix Richmond 2014, with 4,300 players. We’ve also seen participation at the PTQ and store-level events go up in all regions. The participation from players has remained constant this season.
I think people are missing the fact that if he’s the commander and his ult deals with planeswalkers, there’s got to be more walkers in the deck. I bet we’ll get some sort of Jace reprint, maybe a Tamiyo. I’m calling it right now, though: if the deck is named Peer Through Time, they have GOT to have an Urza planeswalker card in there.
Did not think of that. WHAT IS IN THAT DECK?
The retail price is 39.99, I doubt it’s going to be filled with planeswalker reprints. You might need to add your own to it. Though if they did, that’d be an amazing move by Wizards, and you should buy the deck before the price of it skyrockets.
