So if your opponent has hexproof their planeswalker essentially does as well?
No. You can still destroy them with “Destroy target permanent” spells or things of that nature. They don’t have Hexproof, but you won’t be able to target your opponent to redirect a spell’s damage onto the Planeswalker. Doesn’t stop you from attacking either with creatures though!
