I chose Black Cat, Cheatyface, and Mirran Crusader.
Black Cat I chose purely based on the fact that I am obsessed with cats (and this one is foil!) I know that there’s a very strong possibility that I could end up being a crazy cat lady. I was very excited when I heard about Black Cat and Sanctuary Cat coming out in Dark Ascension.
Cheatyface I chose because when I first started playing Magic, I was playing mono-green overrun and often times during casual group games, I would sneak creatures on to the board. Since it was casual, it was all in good fun. A few months later we did an Unhinged draft and everyone insisted that I get the Cheatyfaces because of my sneakiness.
Mirran Crusader and I go way back. He’s been with me through my mono-white indestructible knights, my equipment deck, and now my green/white humans. He was left out of my black/blue zombies and I hated seeing him on the other side of the table. Mirran Crusader is definitely one of my favorite cards, especially when he’s equipped with Sword of War and Peace.
Anyways, that’s my summed up by my favorite Magic cards!
