OH HEY
Here’s the picture that’s supposed to go along with that

My card: Bitterblossom (yes my webcam quality is shit).
So yeah, a little preface: I started playing Magic when I was 11 (it was 2001, and Apocalypse was the latest set). I had learned how to play via a tutorial that I found off the Nickelodeon website of all places, and became hooked. Draco, Kamahl, Phage, Akroma, these were my equivalent to things like the planeswalkers back in the day. Anyway, I cultivated a knack for wanting to build brutally effective decks that ensured victory. I was (and still am) a Spike in a very pure sense. I played all the way from Apocalypse through the end of Ravnica and enjoyed every minute of it.
And then I stopped playing. Time passed and I heard from a friend of mine who still played about all the latest innovations in the game, and slowly building my interest in the game all over again.
I started playing again in the Zendikar block and began my collection anew (since most of my cards were unfortunately lost). I decided to get caught up on the 3 years of MTG history that I had missed out on. It was through this that I learned about on of the most format defining, game breaking, degenerate decks in recent time: U/B Faeries. Needless to say, I had to check this out. Bitterblossom here, is the engine of said deck. It is a card that enables so many possibilities within the Faerie deck, and truly is the essence of me as a player. It is a brutally efficient card that enables your deck to utterly lock down your opponent and cripple them. It is a Spike card through, and through, and it is my favorite Magic card of all time.
