Q:Ok, so me and some of my friends were talking about planeswalkers. One of us was under the impressino that you could specify your swinging at a planes walker. I know you can block with planeswalkers but am unsure about being able to swing directly at them. Do you mind clarifying this point please.

Planeswalkers don’t block, creatures do. You can assign creatures to block creatures who have been declared as attacking your Planeswalker.

Damage dealt to Planeswalkers results in having that many loyalty counters removed from them.

Think of Planeswalkers as almost like another player. They can be swung at, but can’t defend themselves without creatures.
