Q:If I had out Trostani and a creature entered the battlefield under my control with a toughness of -1, would I lose 1 life?
That’s a good question. The ruling might be dependent on Layers (which I’m still really bad at), so bear with me and followers please correct me if I’m wrong.
I am assuming a static effect is making creatures get lower toughness, like Heartless Summoning… And let’s say you cast a Clone and don’t have it enter the battlefield as a copy of anything…
It would enter the battlefield as a -1/-1, which means it will die immediately but not before triggering Trostani’s first ability. Magic is a game of math, so I assume you would lose 1 life. Correction! You can’t gain negative life in Magic!
Someone correct me if I’m wrong?

EDIT: “The types of mana are white, blue, black, red, green, and colorless.”-Gatherer Ruling, 5/1/2008. “Bandit Lord sauciness” is not a type of mana. Reflecting pool only sees a colorless, mana producing land.
Ah, types. I missed that tiny little word. Good catch! I will be editing the previous posts then!
Errata for Lord Voldemort -
“UUU, T: Gain control of target creature until end of turn. Untap that creature. It gains haste until end of turn.”
(The original developing ability was simply “UUU, T: Gain control of target creature.” I forgot to add in the other things before I changed my mind and published it.)
Q:Your youtube link doesnt work...
Crap crap, sorry. Link back to the original post, here with edited URL.

gulstab replied to your post:Hi, for the past two days i’ve been struggling to come up with a deck that makes use of and abuses the card Knowledge Pool for either standard or extended format. So far the best I can come up with is cards it pairs decently with but nothing amazing really(Venser, leyline of anticipation, and Dissipation Field) Any ideas?
Too bad that isn’t Extended! I’d also suggest a heavy control deck with Rule of Law and Knowledge Pool. Instantly forces you and your opponent to win the game by on-field tactics. :)
*crash* Forgot, tenth isn’t Extended. Durrr…
